Wildfires, drought, industrial pollution, earthquakes and extreme weather are just some of the hazards the Ventura County Office of Emergency Services is hoping to address in its updated Hazard Mitigation plan.

The Office of Emergency Services is required by the Federal Emergency Management Agency to update its plan every five years to continue to be eligible for federal funding.

To prevent this from becoming a check-the-box, status-quo document, information is needed now to help those putting out fires, pulling people from raging rivers, containing industrial-center explosions, and more. Watch: ODOT camera captures head-on crash between vehicle and semi on I-90 East in Cleveland [Video]

WARNING: Some viewers may find the video disturbing.Drivers encountered an unexpected detour early Thursday morning as a crash closed I-90 East at East 185th Street. The roadway, which was closed for several hours, has since reopened.Cleveland police say a 25-year-old woman was ejected in the two-vehicle crash, which involved a semi. Tiger Woods announces golf return 10 months after horrific car accident | New York Post [Video]

Tiger Woods will soon be back in action.On Wednesday, the 45-year-old golfer revealed that he will participate in next weekend’s PNC Championship with his 12-year-old son, Charlie, his first golf tournament since nearly losing his leg in a car crash on Feb. 23 in California.“Although it’s been a long and challenging year, I am very excited to close it out by competing in the @PNCchampionship with my son Charlie,” Woods tweeted.“I’m playing as a Dad and couldn’t be more excited and proud.”Woods shares Charlie and daughter Sam, 14, with his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren. The pair divorced in 2010.The PNC Championship features golf champions teaming up with family members. It is a two-round event starting on Saturday, Dec. 18.
